"I had a great time riding ski bus because it gave me a worry free, fun way to get to the mountain when my parents couldn't take me. I loved the fun activities on the bus such as raffles and movies. Thank you!" Sophia A. High School Program
"My favorite part of the ski bus was the raffles because you got to choose which movie everyone watched after a long day of skiing." Georgia B. SnoBlaster Program
"It was really fun to have all my friends ride up with me. We could hang out on the bus and ski all day together. It was all pre-arranged so we didn't have to think about how we were going to get to and from the mountain. Our parents liked that we weren't driving up on our own." Sam B. High School Program
"When our neighbor, Ariel, forwarded us the information about the ski bus and SnoBlasters program at Meadows, we were excited to give our son the opportunity to be independent and meet some other kids his age that live in our neighborhood. Plus, we love skiing and are committed to giving our kids experiences that will help them love skiing too. Still, we were all nervous. Seven-and-a-half seemed young to us to send a kid off for the day, to the mountain of all places. I was worried that the conditions would be too windy or snowy or whatever, and then he wouldn’t have a good time and would hate skiing forever. Our son was terrified that he didn’t know any of the other kids going, that he wouldn’t have anyone to sit with, that the skiing would be too scary. In the weeks leading up to the first day, we couldn’t mention the ski bus without setting off begging and crying so intense that I was sure we’d made a mistake. I contacted Jenny to explore our options, and she couldn’t have been more amazing and reassuring. She came up with a plan. And a back up plan. And a back up plan for the back plan. She reached out to some older kids who’d been riding the bus for years and arranged for them to be our son’s Big Brother and Big Sister for the day. They saved our son a seat on the bus and were so sweet to him that I had to stop myself from crying with relief! You can probably guess where this is going… He had the time of his life. His skiing improved by leaps and bounds. His confidence soared. We’ll be back next year for sure!" Kristen S, parent
"The North Beaverton ski bus has been a great experience for our family. The fabulous chaperones make it fun for the kids with movies and raffles. The bus is very comfortable and even has a bathroom. The chaperones have a great relationship with the mountain staff and took care of a concern I had quickly. Both my girls are looking forward to a third season next year." N. Fender, parent
