Due to high winds Mt. Hood Meadows has cancelled all youth programs for today. They have added on an extra date in February. Our new dates are:
January 19th January 26th February 2nd February 9th If you are unable to come up with us on February 9th, your child will have an opportunity to drive up with you on another date to use their lift ticket and/or lesson and rental. Contact the ski school a day before the date you want to return to set up your child's lesson. The lesson will not take place through Snowblasters or Trailblazers but through the ski school.

Mt Hood Meadows has informed us that there are only 100 spots left in the entire Snowblaster program. If you have a 1st through 5th grader time is running out to sign up for lessons. If you are unsure, you can still sign up and cancel at anytime. So register ASAP if you are at all interested.
We are having great success with North Beaverton Bus sign-ups! We already have many more signed up this year at this time than last year. We know there has been some confusion about how to sign up for each program so here is a little tutorial with step by step instructions:
1. Go to the Mt. Hood Meadows website. 2. Click on Lessons and Rentals 3. Click on Consecutive Week Programs. You will find the link on the left hand side bar. You will see a drop down menu. 4. Click on Youth and Weekend Bus Programs. 5. Click on the space that that says Click here to enter your GO Code. 6. Enter our Go Code and your child's age. This will automatically put you on our bus and in the right program whether it be Snowblasters, Trailblazers or High School. It looks like it is going to be another La Nina year. That means tons of snow for spectacular conditions on the mountain! Sign up for the North Beaverton Ski and Snowboard bus begins on December 1st. Spots for lessons at the mountain are limited so be sure to sign up early to secure your place with Meadows' fabulous ski and snowboard instructors.
WOW - what a season! From the BEST SNOW EVER, to a flat tire, to helping a stranded bus… It was an eventful season for North Beaverton!
I had a great time with your kids. I love skiing, I love sharing the love of skiing, and I love the thrill of the early morning vibe and late afternoon sigh after a day of skiing… really I do! I hope your kids enjoyed the season and grew a bit as a skier and as a person! |
